Thanks for stopping by . . . I’m Kathy Freundel . . .

Kick your feet up, make a cup of tea, and linger awhile. Oh, and I love it when you leave me comments. It’s like leaving a “post it” on the front door
I am me . . . and I learn more about who that really is every single day.
My life was bought for a dear price, and I am one grateful princess.
I’ve been married for fifteen years to the most creative, amazing man I’ve ever met.
Carl and I met when he was directing John, Paul, George, Ringo . . . and Bert.
He asked me to choreograph for him . . . I said yes . . . and the rest is history.
Carl asked me to marry him on our second date. I said yes . . . and the rest is more history.
Eight children later . . . and I feel so blessed.
Yes, we homeschool. No, our life is not one well- oiled machine.
But I love our life.
Here are some of my favorites:
the morning sun . . . she has gold in her mouth . . .
. . . long walks down over farmer’s hill in the spring . . .
. . . indulgent gift giving . . .
. . . taking photos of people living full . . .
. . . anything by Gene Stratten Porter . . .
. . . good friends . . .
. . . my kids’ giggles . . .
. . . Somerset Maugham’s The Moon and Sixpence . . .
. . . shooting with Carl . . .

I love that Carl is always encouraging me to grow and be creative.
Here are a couple of things I want for my kids to know . . .
they are beloved children of God . . .
. . . that each one of us has a freak flag, and we have to let it fly sometimes.
My favorite question ever . . .
If you could pursue anything, and there was no chance you would fail, what would you pursue?
Make no mistake . . . I love my peeps!
